A downloadable game
The Xlien Invasion succeeded. Their fleets of battleships and xlien carriers landed on the planet and now they're everywhere. But Earth defence isn't helpless! No, they planned ahead. The DIATank is available and fitted with a powerful AIR Cannon, and lucky you! You are selected to drive the tank and eradicate the Xliens from the planet.
Sounds easy?
Unfortunately, the Xliens are invulnerable to AIR; George Orwell was wrong. Fortunately Earth defence have a couple more tricks up their sleeve. Powerful, red spikey mines have been shown to be effective against the Xliens; so use your AIR cannon to blast them into the path of the mines. Be careful though, the DIATank is also vulnerable, and there's a limited quantity and no spare parts.
Sometimes there is a shortage of mines. Earth defence aren't stumped here though; they've invented some powerful autonomous drones using the latest AI. These Diamond shaped Deathly Drones can obliterate anything in their path - including your tank!
Avoid everything. Destroy the Xliens.
20 levels of amazingly challenging action for the ZX Spectrum 128K.
(Spectrum 48K version and Enterprise version will be released later).
Keys:
O = left, P = right, Q = up, A = down, M = fire (or redefine them!)
